This popular volume, within a short span of two years, is now in its third edition. It has been enriched by the addition of up to date case-law and latest material on the subject.

A new chapter on 'Inchoate Torts' has been added discussing and explaining new situations which lie on the borderline of tort and contract, resulting in tort. New cases, reflecting the growing case-law on the subject in India and abroad, have been introduced, such as on electrocution (Chapter XVI) and liability in case of nuclear installations (Chapter XVIII).
