The book at hand for review and updation, is a popular commentary on the subject of Civil Procedure. The fact that the sixth edition of this commentary is being released reflects the utility of this book for the Bench and Bar and whosoever is concerned with the field.
More recently, some significant amendments have been incorporated in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 by the Act 4 of 2016, namely, the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015. In the present sixth edition, all amendments made under this Act have been incorporated very carefully. During the revision of the commentary, several unnecessary materials have been taken out and the Court’s decisions which have now lost their utility have also been deleted.
