"Rural women in developing countries continue to be responsible for the time and labour intensive tasks but they do not have access to new technologies, especially in farm and allied activities management. No mechanization has been introduced for women dominated farm operations to reduce drudgery in work. Women do not get better results due to use of old/traditional implements. Therefore the major step in the present time is to introduce improved implements for performance of tasks. There is an immediate need to rectify the bias in designing of technologies for women.
