Started in the year 2008 ‘Pakistan Society of Criminology’ is a journal of criminology, a peer-reviewed and research-oriented scholarly journal. It aims to advance the study of criminology and criminal justice; to promote empirically-based public policy in crime prevention; and to encourage comparative studies of crime and criminal justice. The journal is interdisciplinary in nature and consists of researches from a variety of disciplines, including criminology, law, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, forensic science and social work as applied to crime and criminal justice.
It provides a forum to all scholars, researcher, practitioners and law enforcement officials to share their researches, views and experiences in order to support or take part in an informed dialogue about existing or new, modified or alternative criminal justice policies or practices in Pakistan.
