The tremendous response to the first five editions of this book as shown by the enlightened readers not only encouraged the author and the publishers but it was realised that the employers have now become conscious to know their obligations under the Labour laws.The encouraging demand of the book also inspired the author to enumerate the relevant case law under various heads in order to enable the readers to know the consequences in not complying with certain provisions of law or to place their defence if a particular obligation has not been properly complied with. Apart from case law, the amended  provisions of different statutes have also been incorporated in updating the book.
