The book Supreme Court on Corruption is in the nature of a mini-encyclopaedia of the most important and relevant law on anti-corruption. This compendium not only contains a digest of all of the Supreme Court’s rulings on public accountability, vigilance and prevention of corruption from 1950 till date, but it also contains the text of the most important Central and State Anti-Corruption Acts. It contains the complete text of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, the Central Vigilance Commission Act, 2003, the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968, the Right to Information Act, 2005 and the Lokayukta Acts of nearly all States that have enacted such Acts.
The judgments of the Supreme Court which have been reprinted in full in this work include all the ‘2G Scam cases’, the judgment which cancels the 122 licenses and orders their re-auction is also incorporated. These judgments are identical reprints of the Full SCC Text with the SCC page nos. and para nos., so that they can be cited in any court of law like SCC.
